Martin Rola has vast experience in the industrial automation and power tools industries. Martin started their career at General Motors in 1989 as a Lead Engineer - Robotics/Paint. From 1997 to 2011, Martin worked for FANUC Robotics America in several roles, including Director, leading a team of 45, and Manager, responsible for business development, product development, program management, engineering, marketing, proposal development, application engineering, and system commissioning. Since 2011, Martin has worked for various companies in executive positions, including Vice President Global Marketing and R&D at Apex Tool Group, LLC, and President - Americas at Wagner Systems Inc. In 2017, Martin founded Sapience Automation, where they serve as President & CEO, an integrator of robot systems that partners with clients to provide full-service solutions from planning to commission to achieve success.
Martin Rola completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1990. Martin then went on to earn their Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University between 1990 and 1992. Additionally, they completed the PACCAR Six Sigma Blackbelt Training Program in Chillicothe, Ohio, though specific dates for this training are not provided.
