Meredith McKean

Associate Director, Melanoma And Skin Cancer Research Program at Sarah Cannon Research Institute

Meredith McKean has a strong background in oncology research and medical training. Meredith began their career as an Internal Medicine Resident at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2012. Meredith then pursued further specialization in oncology by completing a Hematology Oncology Fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center from 2015 to 2018. Following their fellowship, Meredith joined the Sarah Cannon Research Institute in 2018 as an Investigator in the Melanoma Research Program. Meredith later advanced to the role of Associate Director in the Melanoma and Skin Cancer Research Program in January 2021. Meredith's work experience demonstrates their dedication and expertise in the field of oncology research and patient care.

Meredith McKean has a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Iowa State University. Meredith also holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Iowa College of Public Health. In addition, they obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine.
