Penny Landis has extensive experience in quality assurance and clinical research, with a focus on regulatory compliance and project management. Currently serving as a Quality Assurance Consultant and previously as a Quality Assurance Specialist at the Sarah Cannon Research Institute since September 2009, Penny provides guidance on regulatory requirements, conducts internal and site audits, and participates in the preparation and follow-up of audits and inspections. Prior roles include Research Coordinator, Senior Clinical Project Associate, and Clinical Research Specialist, all contributing to the successful management and execution of complex clinical trials. Penny's earlier experience includes positions at McKesson, OTN, and Cardinal Health, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Middle Tennessee State University and an Associate of Arts degree in Fine and Studio Arts.

Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) is one of the world’s leading oncology research organizations conducting community-based clinical trials. In 2022, SCRI formed a joint venture with former US Oncology Research to enhance clinical trial access and availability across the country.
