Mateus Torquato de Medeiros

Mateus Torquato de Medeiros has a diverse work experience in software development. Mateus started their career at Ema Software as a Software Developer, where they worked on maintenance and development of features using Delphi XE. Mateus also gained experience with relational databases such as Firebird, Oracle, and PostgreSQL. Later, they became an analyst responsible for changes in the Point of Sale (POS) system and ensuring compliance with Brazilian regulations.

Mateus then joined Exon FWE as a Full Stack Developer, where they specialized in web development using PHP with Laravel and SQL Server. Mateus contributed to the development and maintenance of a modular manufacturing management system. Mateus also enhanced their front-end skills with CSS3, Bootstrap, and JavaScript with JQuery.

At Bravi, Mateus had two roles. As a Frontend Engineer, they worked on an international project for EposNow, a company in the UK. Mateus was responsible for frontend tasks as well as collaborating with the backend and APIs. Mateus contributed to the development of a solution for sales management, inventory control, and CRM.

Later, at Bravi, they became a Full Stack Engineer and joined the Quanta Previdência team. Mateus worked on the development of the Plataforma project, which aimed to be a self-service platform for pension plan participants. Mateus used Angular for the development of the platform and WordPress for the landing page. Mateus also participated in agile ceremonies and ensured the quality of the project through unit tests with Jasmine and Karma.

Currently, Mateus is a Senior Software Engineer at Sardine, where they continue to contribute their expertise in software development.

Mateus Torquato de Medeiros completed their Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, where they studied from 2016 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications in various programming languages and web development skills. These certifications include "Java JRE e JDK: compile e execute o seu programa" from Alura (obtained in June 2023), "Learning TypeScript" from LinkedIn (obtained in February 2023), "Polyglot Web Development" from LinkedIn (obtained in February 2023), and "B2 First – Score 160" from Cambridge Assessment English (obtained in September 2021). Mateus also completed several other certifications in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Git, Laravel, and Ruby, obtained from various online platforms like Alura, LinkedIn, and Udemy, between 2018 and 2019.
