Job description

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Min 5 years of professional work experience within AEC industry and BIM management.

  • Experience in large, complex projects.

  • Expert level proficiency in Revit is a must.

  • Expert knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud ACC and BIM collaboration methods.

  • Working knowledge of Dynamo and Revit API.

  • Knowledge of construction documents and working knowledge of architectural construction methods, design principles and processes.

  • Team oriented and a willingness to be engaged in all aspects of the practice.

  • Enthusiasm toward working in a collaborative studio with consideration to part-time remote/hybrid environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information and ensure discretion in all project-related matters.

  • Must be self-motivated to pursue both current and emerging best practices in current and new technology platforms.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Proficiency with other CAD, Design, and Rendering software including Rhino, Grasshopper, Sketchup, AutoCAD, Enscape, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Proficiency with Revit API, Python, and/or other programming languages.

  • Experience with complex schedules and features of design models within multifamily or similar project types.

  • Local candidates preferred.

  • Flexible and willing to participate in project specific modeling and detailing efforts when project workload demands, or if BIM manager tasks are minimal.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Management of SAR’s Revit templates, family libraries, project standards, software versions, and 3rd party software.

  • Management of projects in Autodesk Construction Cloud.

  • Provide training and tutorials on Revit in group and/or individual settings as needed including on-boarding new staff.

  • Work with multiple internal project teams in all phases of design, and coordinate with consultant BIM managers.

  • Provide support to project teams including troubleshooting, advanced modeling and content creation, and conducting quality control.

  • Collaboration with internal BIM leadership team to implement and advance office BIM initiatives.

  • Implementation of and contribution to current BIM Execution plans, and refinement of existing BIM Execution plans for new projects.

  • Interface with IT to provide technical support, resolve technical issues for individuals and teams, and support the deployment of BIM/Rendering software.

  • Customize software for specific firm needs.

SALARY 

An anticipated salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 depending on individual experience but are open to candidates with more or less experience who demonstrate the necessary skills.
