Pallavi Sastry

Pallavi Sastry is currently a Computing Services Intern on the Data Management Team at SAS since May 2023, and serves as Co-President of Girls Who Code, where responsibilities include organizing outreach initiatives and designing engaging Python programming curricula for over 55 members. Pallavi also acts as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the UNC Department of Computer Science, leading office hours for a class of more than 600 students and developing practice exercises. As a Computer Science Instructor with Juni Learning, Pallavi provides personalized Python lessons to students aged 8-18. Previous experiences include roles as a Data Reporter at The Daily Tar Heel, Database Management Intern at Easy Event Planning, and Supply Chain Procurement Intern at RACEnergy. Pallavi began teaching Python in a previous role with Aaigen Global and Technologies. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Data Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, expected to graduate in 2025.
