Cheryl Schmitz B.Comm, M.Ed, CPA, CMA is an accomplished financial leader with extensive experience in higher education and healthcare finance. Since July 1995, Cheryl has held various positions at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, including Chief Financial Officer and Vice-President of Administrative Services, showcasing a deep expertise in financial management and operational leadership. Previous roles include Director of Finance at both the Midwest District Health Region and Rosetown and District Health Centre. Cheryl's educational background includes a Master's degree in Educational Administration from the University of Saskatchewan, a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a focus on accounting and health care administration, and professional designations as a Certified Management Accountant and Chartered Professional Accountant. Cheryl also completed a certificate in Educational Management from Harvard Graduate School of Education in July 2023.
