Matthew Muirhead has worked as a Lab Technician at the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Course Maintenance staff at The Willows Golf & Country Club starting from May 2010.

Matthew Muirhead completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science at the University of Saskatchewan from 2014 to 2020. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including Standard First Aid, CPR and AED from the Canadian Red Cross in 2018, IT Essentials: PC Hardware and Software from Cisco Networking Academy in 2009, CPR/AED/First Aid from SimpleCPR in 2021, Lockout/Tagout Certification from eSafety First Canada in 2021, and WHMIS 2015 (GHS) Certification from eSafety First Canada in 2021.
