Lester Satram has extensive work experience in the field of human resources and reward governance. Lester began their career at Liberty Group in 2000 as an Assistant Payroll Manager, where they worked until 2003. Lester then joined Nedbank as a Remuneration Manager and worked there until 2009. In 2009, Satram moved to Sasol, where they held various roles, including Remuneration Manager, Head of Reward Governance, and currently serves as the Vice President of Reward, Wellbeing, OD, and HR Governance. Lester has been with Sasol since 2009, and their most recent role began in November 2020.

Lester Satram earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from the University of the Witwatersrand from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Business from the University of the Western Cape between 1992 and 1995. Lester also holds a certification as a Master Reward Specialist from the South African Reward Association, obtained in 2017.
