Walt Bruns has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Walt started their career at Deloitte in 2005, where they worked as an Audit Senior and later as an Accountant-in-Charge. At Deloitte, they supervised audits for various companies, including Anglo-Coal, Hernic Ferrochrome, Transnet Freight Rail, Tourvest Inbound, and Spencer Stuart. In 2009, Walt joined Sasol as the Finance Manager for Emerging Markets, and eventually took on roles such as Manager of Global Planning and Senior Manager of Planning & Optimization. Walt became the Chief Financial Officer in 2019 and is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Finance & Information Management.
Walt Bruns completed their education at various institutions in South Africa. In 1998, they graduated from St David's Marist Brothers College with a High School degree. Afterwards, they attended the University of Stellenbosch from 2000 to 2002, earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Management Accounting.
