Sasria is a short-term insurance company wholly owned by the state and reports directly to National Treasury. The company is self-funding and generates income from premiums which is used to pay all claims and expenses. The company is also responsible for providing adequate capital for major catastrophic losses. 

The organisation’s success for the past 36 years can be attributed to its business model. Our customers are in all sectors of the economy and these include listed companies, public companies, small SME’s, state-owned companies, municipalities and private individuals.
