Ahmed Alasmari

Ahmed Alasmari serves as the Head of the Technology Center for Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, a position held since January 2020. In this role, Ahmed leads search and examination activities, ensuring compliance with intellectual property laws and service-level agreements, while also enhancing examination processes. Previously, Ahmed held various patent examination roles at SAIP and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, where responsibilities included examining patent applications and conducting substantive examinations. Ahmed's earlier experience includes a managerial position at PepsiCo, focusing on productivity and staff training. Ahmed holds a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from King Saud University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.
