Saudi Iron and Steel Company (Hadeed) is the largest iron & steel producer in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region offering a wide range of high-quality long and flat steel products. The company commenced production of long steel products in 1983 and flat steel products in 1998.

Since its establishment in 1979, Hadeed’s products have been a critical input for the development of the Saudi construction and industrial sectors.

Hadeed is a strategic player in the Saudi industrial ecosystem with a pivotal role in enabling Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

In May 2024, the Public Investment Fund and AlRajhi Invest acquired Hadeed.
