Sonnia C. Moon

Sonnia C. Moon currently serves as the Associate Director of Admission at Savannah College of Art and Design since April 2023, following a role as Assistant Director of Admissions at the same institution. Prior experiences include working as an Admissions Counselor at Mercer University - College of Pharmacy from August 2021 to April 2023, where responsibilities included representing the College and advising students on healthcare pathways and admission requirements. Sonnia has a long tenure at Mercer University English Language Institute, teaching Academic English from August 1997 to June 2021, and advising students on their educational goals. Additional experience includes serving as a College MBA English Instructor at the Stetson-Hatcher School of Business and working as a College Counselor and SAT Instructor at Kaplan Korea. Sonnia holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Sogang University and a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from the University of Northern Iowa.
