Destini Ambus

Destini Ambus is a General Assignment Reporter at Savannah Morning News & savannahnow.com since August 2023. Previously, Ambus served as Editor In Chief at The Auburn Plainsman from January 2020 to May 2023, overseeing newsroom operations and managing content production, social media, and advertising. Ambus also held the roles of Content Editor and Opinion Editor, ensuring timely content submissions and producing well-researched editorials, respectively. In addition, Ambus gained experience as a News Intern at Montgomery Advertiser, part of the USA Today Network, in the summer of 2022. Ambus earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Auburn University in 2023.
