Evan Lasseter

Evan Lasseter is an accomplished journalist with experience in various reporting roles. Currently serving as a City Government Reporter for Savannah Morning News and savannahnow.com, Evan covers the Savannah Mayor and City Council. Previous experience includes an internship with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, focusing on economy and environment reporting, and a position as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Missouri School of Journalism. Evan also worked as a Government Impact Reporter for the Missouri News Network, a State Government Reporter for the Columbia Missourian, and held a sports internship at the Athens Banner-Herald. Early career contributions were made as a News Desk Contributor for The Red & Black Publishing Co. Evan holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from the Missouri School of Journalism and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Georgia's Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
