Cathy Skula

Cathy Skula is an accomplished business leader with significant experience in franchising and retail operations. As the current Board Director and Chairman of the Compensation Committee at Save A Lot since December 2022, Cathy continues to provide strategic oversight. Previously, as an Operating Partner at The Riverside Company from August 2022 to March 2024, Cathy led executive teams for multiple portfolio companies, driving accountability and high performance. Cathy also held key leadership roles at Rent-A-Center from May 2004 to April 2022, including President & CEO of Rent A Center Franchising, where Cathy expanded the franchise to 500 locations with $500 million in revenue. Additional roles at Rent-A-Center involved oversight of franchising and retail operations, as well as regional management, while also serving on the Board of APRO from June 2017 to April 2018. Cathy holds a BA in Russian/Soviet Area Studies from Dickinson College and completed the Women's Director Development Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
