Kennan Cepa

Kennan Cepa currently serves as the Director of Research and Policy at SaverLife since February 2025, following a role as the Director of Policy and Research at the Financial Health Network from August 2022 to January 2025. Prior to this, Kennan held the position of Senior Manager of Policy and Research at the University of Michigan, focusing on the educational and labor market outcomes of community college students. Kennan's research experience includes a tenure as a Doctoral Researcher in Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania, where projects involved family demography and national survey data, as well as positions at the American Institutes for Research and Northwestern University, where focus areas included educational research and policy evaluation. Kennan began the professional journey in education with an internship at Chicago Public Schools. Educational credentials include a BA in History from the University of Chicago and a Master's degree in Statistics, followed by a PhD in Sociology, both from the University of Pennsylvania.
