Jolanda Koot

VP, Business Operations at Savion

Jolanda Koot currently serves as Vice President of Business Operations at Savion, LLC, starting in February 2023. Prior experience includes various roles at Shell from 2014 to March 2023, such as Commercial Lead for Renewable Power Development and Joint Venture Manager, as well as involvement in the development and construction of the Moerdijk Solar Plant. Jolanda also worked as a Project Engineer on the Penguins Redevelopment Project, focusing on project execution and interface engineering. Earlier in their career, Jolanda participated in a research initiative with De Nationale Denktank and gained teaching experience at Stichting Studiebegeleiding Leiden. Research internships at ETH Zurich and KidRisk involved modeling evacuation behavior and managing health risks associated with viruses in children. Jolanda holds a Master of Science degree with Cum Laude distinction from Delft University of Technology, complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree with Cum Laude recognition in Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis & Management. Educational background includes a distinction from Sint Laurens College in multiple subjects.
