Mikael Nyberg has a strong background in finance and management. mikael began their career in 1997 as the MD Back Office at Tech Data Finland, where they stayed until 2001. mikael then moved on to TechData SARL as the MD Back Office until 2003. From 2004 to 2013, they served as the CFO at stonesoft, a network security company listed on the Nasdaq OMX Helsinki stock exchange. During this time, they were responsible for backoffice functions and oversaw international operations. In 2013, stonesoft was acquired by McAfee/Intel. Following this, Nyberg worked as a Time off Manager at Vacation from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they took on the role of CFO at Picosun, a small nanotechnology company focused on worldwide growth. mikael then moved on to Ixonos, a creative IT technology company, also as CFO, from 2014 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they returned to Vacation as a Time off Manager. Nyberg then joined Sharper Shape Oy in 2017 as CFO until 2022. Most recently, in 2023, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Savox Communications Ltd.

Mikael Nyberg pursued their educational journey in the field of Production Economics at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 1979 to 1985, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree.
