Dwayne Smith has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on well planning and business development. Currently serving as a Business Development professional at SB Directional Services since February 2019, Dwayne previously worked as a Senior Well Planner at Alta Mesa Resources and held various positions including MWD Field Engineer at Leam Drilling Systems LLC from June 2004 to December 2016. Dwayne has contributed to projects in key regions such as the Woodford Shale, Haynesville Shale, and Permian Basin, and has a robust background as an in-house consultant for well planning and drilling operations, with significant roles at Chesapeake Energy, Apache Corporation, and Petrohawk Energy. Dwayne's career began at Weatherford International, where responsibilities evolved from drilling jar sales to becoming a Senior Well Planner.
