Alain Schenk

Alain Schenk is an experienced professional in the energy and technology sectors, currently serving as the Chef de la région Ouest for SBB CFF FFS since November 2016, alongside multiple leadership roles, including Vize-Präsident des Verwaltungsrates at Kraftwerk Göschenen AG. With a robust background at BKW AG from 2001 to 2016, Alain held various senior positions, including Leiter Grid Solutions and Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung Netze. Education includes a PhD in Artificial Intelligence for Power Engineering from EPFL, an EMBA in Utility Management from Université de Fribourg, and multiple degrees in Electrical Engineering from EPFL and Ecole d'ingénieurs de Genève.
