Stephanie Schalbetter

Stephanie Schalbetter is currently serving as a Data Manager at SBB CFF FFS since June 2020, specializing in diagnostics and infrastructure. Prior experience includes two postdoctoral research positions at the University of Sussex, focusing on meiotic chromosome structure under Dr. Matthew Neale from January 2016 to December 2019 and DNA topology and chromosome structure under Dr. Jonathan Baxter from September 2012 to December 2015. Earlier professional roles include administrative support at UBS from February 2001 to February 2006 and a scientific student research project at ETH Zürich in late 2003, where a minimal set of amino acids was utilized to create an active enzyme. Stephanie Schalbetter earned a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Sussex between 2007 and 2012 and a Master's degree in Biochemistry from ETH Zürich, completed in 2006. A high school diploma in Economics was obtained from Kollegium Spiritus Sanctus in 2000.
