Amit Gupta has over 20 years of experience in the mutual fund industry. Amit started their career in 1999 as the Head of UP at Birla Sun Life AMC Ltd. Amit then held various roles within the company, including Head of Rest of Maharashtra and Regional Head of Rest of West. In 2006, they became the Zonal Head for the South region. In 2008, they joined Taurus AMC Ltd as the National Head of Sales. Since 2010, Amit has been working at SBI Mutual Fund as the Executive Vice President and National Head of Institutional Business.
Amit Gupta completed an MBA degree in Marketing and Finance from MUM from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained a B Com degree from an unspecified institution between 1992 and 1995. Their education began with a 12th degree in Commerce from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya from 1990 to 1992.
