Javed Ahmad has a diverse range of work experience. Javed started their career in 1993 as a Sr. Principal Consultant at Keane, Inc, where they worked as a systems architect and team lead. In 1998, Javed joined Fidelity Investments as a Consultant and stayed until 2006. Javed also had a brief stint as the CEO of Grameen Solutions from March to September 2006. Javed then worked as a Consultant at NaviNet, Inc. from 2006 to 2007. In 2020, they became the CTO in Residence at SBK Tech Ventures. Currently, Javed holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Trustees at North South University.
Javed Ahmad earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Brown University in the years 1984-1988. Javed then pursued studies in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 1991 to 1993. Prior to that, they completed their Senior Cambridge O' Levels at St Francis Xavier Green Herald International School from 1979 to 1981. Lastly, they attended the International School of Geneva (Ecolint) from 1975 to 1979, although their field of study or degree is unspecified.
