Mahedi Hasan Omi is an experienced investment professional specializing in early-stage startups across various sectors. Currently serving as an Investment Manager at SBK Tech Ventures since March 2022, Mahedi focuses on addressing significant challenges in Bangladesh through strategic investments. As a Venture Partner at rali_cap, Mahedi collaborates with a global network to support fintech ventures in emerging markets. Additionally, Mahedi is a Catalyst Fellow with On Deck and previously held roles at IDLC Asset Management Limited as an Assistant Manager and Investment Associate, contributing to the launch of Bangladesh's first financial institution dedicated to startup investing. Earlier experience includes serving as an Investment Analyst at Adventure Capital. Mahedi holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Banking from Bangladesh University of Professionals.
