Mattia Moretto has extensive experience in regulatory affairs and project management in the field of plant protection products, biocidal products, and fertilizers. Mattia began their career at Toxicon s.r.l as a Consultant and Trainee, where they conducted hazard assessments and managed REACH dossiers. Mattia then joined the European Chemicals Agency as a Scientific Assistant, focusing on the identification of SVHC substances and reviewing experimental studies.
Afterwards, Mattia worked at SAGEA SR Centro di Saggio s.r.l. as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, managing active substance dossiers and preparing fertilizers dossiers. Mattia then moved to PHYTO mastery srl, where they worked as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, specializing in the management of Plant Protection Products and biocidal products.
Currently, Mattia is working at SBM Company as an R&D Project Manager EU, responsible for coordinating and implementing projects related to new Plant Protection Products, Biocidal products, and fertilizers for the consumer market. Mattia also serves as a Regulatory Manager, overseeing the management of Plant Protection Products, EU biocidal products, and national biocidal products dossiers.
Throughout their career, Mattia has demonstrated strong project management skills, regulatory expertise, and the ability to collaborate with external partners and stakeholders. Mattia has a deep understanding of technological and regulatory developments in the industry and provides strategic recommendations and direction.
Mattia Moretto earned a Bachelor's degree in General Biology from the Università di Pavia in 2010. Mattia then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Environmental Biology from the same university in 2013. In 2014, Mattia pursued a postgraduate specialization in the Assessment and Control of Toxicological Risks of Environmental Pollutants at the Fondazione Salvatore Maugeri. In December 2013, they obtained certification as a professional Biologist from the Ordine Nazionale dei Biologi.
