Rendy Ho

Rendy Ho has extensive work experience in various industries, including transportation, electronics, and retail. Rendy currently holds the position of Head of Rail Safety, Security, and Emergency Planning at SBS Transit Ltd. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of DTL Safety and Security at the same company.

Before joining SBS Transit Ltd, Rendy worked at the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore as a Senior Manager, overseeing systems audit and operational safety. In this role, they were responsible for safety management system audits, regulatory compliance, and investigating railway incidents and accidents.

Earlier in their career, Rendy worked at STMicroelectronics as an Operations Manager, leading teams and providing operation support. Rendy also implemented training programs and drove cost-saving initiatives.

Rendy co-founded Bag Therapy, where they oversaw various aspects of the business such as operations, marketing, logistics, and business development. Rendy successfully improved revenue through sales and marketing strategies and established physical stores in Singapore.

Their early career includes working at Micron Technology as a Senior Process and Equipment Engineer, where they resolved chronic issues, conducted data analysis, and optimized process conditions.

Throughout their career, Rendy has demonstrated leadership skills, a strong focus on safety and compliance, and the ability to drive business growth and cost efficiency.

Rendy Ho holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the National University of Singapore. Rendy also has a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration from Murdoch University. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National University of Singapore. Rendy Ho attended Temasek Junior College and obtained a GCE A Level qualification. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Workplace Safety and Health Officer from the Ministry of Manpower, Certified Fire Safety Manager from the Singapore Civil Defence Force, and various other professional certifications in areas such as railway operations management, agile team facilitation, and internal auditing.
