Abdul Basit

Abdul Basit is a seasoned professional in information security with extensive experience in event detection and security analysis. Currently serving as a Security Specialist and Information Security Analyst at Scalar Decisions since July 2018, Abdul previously held the role of SOC Shift Lead and Security Analyst at Herjavec Group from September 2017 to July 2018. Abdul began their career as a Research Assistant at York University's Lassonde School of Engineering in early 2017. Educationally, Abdul earned a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Security with a specialized Honours Degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from York University, completing the program in 2016.
