Chris Stephens

Chris Stephens is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software engineering and infrastructure development. Currently serving as Director of Platform Engineering at Scale AI since July 2023, Chris leads a team focused on building essential software components and cloud infrastructure. Prior to this role, Chris was Director of Core Engineering at Citadel, overseeing engineering teams responsible for core systems and cloud service initiatives. Previously, Chris held the position of Engineering Manager at Meta, where responsibilities included developing virtualization platforms, and served as Senior Manager of Infra Engineering at Tesla, focusing on datacenter automation. Other significant roles include Manager of Server Application Infra at AIG and Assistant Vice President at AIG Financial Products, concentrating on infrastructure engineering and technology consolidation. Chris holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Western Connecticut State University.
