Janie Gu

Janie Gu serves as the Head of Product for Marketplace & AI Evaluation at Scale AI, where responsibilities include developing systems for human-powered dataset generation, impacting over 500,000 contributors. Previously, Janie held roles at Discord as Group Product Manager and Staff Product Manager, where contributions included launching a third-party apps platform and growing native games to 5 million weekly active users. At Lyft, Janie led product management for Marketplace, driving significant revenue through innovative machine learning products and co-founding Lyft's Enterprise vertical. Earlier experience includes positions at Google as an Associate Product Manager and Software Engineer, as well as research at Princeton University. Janie holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Operations Research from Princeton University and has pursued studies in Economics & Management at the University of Oxford. Janie's accolades include recognition as a 2011 Intel Science Talent Search Semifinalist.
