Erik Sundström has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Erik started their career as a Project Manager at Eureka Marknadsfakta in 1995. In 2001, they joined Deloitte as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager, focusing on Energy utilities and the Public sector. In 2003, they moved to Vattenfall, where they held multiple roles, including Head of Market Analysis and Business Intelligence, Head of Communications for Vattenfall Sales Nordic, and Project Manager in the Group Function Communications. During their time at Vattenfall, they were responsible for the internal/external communication of Vattenfall's European electric vehicle program and played a pivotal role in the joint venture with Volvo Cars. In 2013, Erik founded Carcharge AB, a company that provided turnkey charging solutions for electric vehicles. In 2014, they joined ScandiNova as the Head of Communications.
Erik Sundström has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Marketing from Mid Sweden University, which they obtained between 1990 and 1994. Prior to that, they attended Åva skolan from 1983 to 1987 and obtained a degree in High school engineering. Before high school, Erik attended Näsbyparkskolan from 1980 to 1983, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
In addition to their formal education, Erik also received a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute in October 2016.

A high power prototype (13MW) was tested in 1996 and since then the team have designed and produced many Modulators of different type and for different applications. When ScandiNova Systems opened for business in July 2001, the founders of the company were already fully experienced in this technology and established one objective – “To become the leader in the Solid State Modulator field by releasing the third generation of Solid State Modulator technology”.
