Jonathan Freisler

Jonathan Freisler is an experienced visual effects professional currently serving as DFX Supervisor and Global Simulation Division Supervisor at Scanline VFX since September 2015. Freisler has held various roles including CG Supervisor, Effects Supervisor, and FX Lead/Supervisor. Prior to Scanline VFX, Freisler worked at Iloura from January 2010 to September 2015 as Lead FX, contributing to numerous feature productions such as 'Gods of Egypt,' 'Spongebob Squarepants 2,' and 'Fury Road.' Additional experience includes a tenure as an FX TD at MPC and as a 3D FX artist at Airbag Productions. Freisler holds a Bachelor in Creative Technology (Digital Animation) from JMC Academy and has further education from the Academy of Interactive Entertainment.
