Damian Nowak is currently working as a Software Tech Lead in the space industry at Scanway, as an Embedded Software Consultant at EMBIQ, and as the Founder and Embedded Systems Engineer at DELMERO. His professional experience includes working on IoT BLE-based devices development, prototype SoC silicone firmware development, linux drivers development, navigation systems with integrated mechatronics, and PLC extensions with custom sensors. In addition to his current roles, he has held positions such as Lead Software Engineer at Diehl Controls, Firmware Developer at ams OSRAM, and Software Developer at Intel Corporation. Damian's background also includes work as a Robotics Specialist at ACCREA Engineering, Electronics Specialist at BTC Korporacja, and Programmer at Xelibri - interactive agency. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Automatyka i Robotyka from Warsaw University of Technology.

Scanway
Scanway is a company based in Wrocław Technology Park in Wrocław, southwest Poland. We specialize in vision systems, image processing and 3D scanning. Our solutions were already tested in space! Due to ambitious project we have a unique – in the scale of the country – experience with designing and developing measurement systems able to work without any troubles in harsh conditions of space and lack of gravity. With our persistence we were able to convert some of the space technologies into the terrestrial applications such as: - 3D scanning systems in the engineering industry, - Automatic image processing technologies in production, - Vision systems and solutions in space, automotive and aerospace industries. Our solutions ensure accuracy, security and optimization of many processes. Currently Scanway employs 20 engineers and scientists and implements both large project for space industry and tailored-to-fit implementations in Polish and foreign manufacturing plants.
