Tabitha Safdi has had a diverse work experience in the media industry. Tabitha started their career as a Producer at WIS-TV from 2004 to 2005, where they produced live daily and nightly newscasts and researched stories for newscasts. In 2005, they joined SCETV as a Producer/Editor, creating and managing the online presence for the show Palmetto Scene. From 2014 to 2019, they worked as a Digital Media Manager - Producer at SCETV, overseeing the digital media content of scetv.org and maximizing SEO opportunities. Most recently, they held the position of Director, Digital Strategies at SCETV from 2019 to 2021, before being promoted to Chief Content Officer in November 2021.

Tabitha Safdi holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Organizational Leadership from Columbia College (SC), which they obtained from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate education at the University of South Carolina from 2000 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. In addition to their formal education, Tabitha has obtained several certifications, including "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" from LinkedIn in July 2022, "Online Marketing Foundations" from Lynda.com in February 2018, and "Project Management Foundations" from Lynda.com in January 2018.
