Mathew Kirk is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in strategic and commercial leadership roles across the telecommunications and communications sectors. Currently serving as Chief Strategy Officer at SCG Connected since December 2021, Mathew previously held key positions at Southern Communications Group Limited from April 2014 to December 2023, including Chief Commercial Officer and Commercial Director. Mathew's earlier career includes significant roles at TalkTalk Telecom Group plc as Corporate Development Director, The Carphone Warehouse Group plc as Group Director of Mergers and Acquisitions, and Grant Thornton LLP as Senior Manager. Mathew holds a BSc in Geography from Aberystwyth University, completed in 1991, and attended Culcheth High School from 1981 to 1988.
