Wade T. Brooks is a seasoned entrepreneur and academic leader with extensive experience in growth strategies and capital investment. As the President and Founder of Sol 7 since 2024, Wade focuses on collaborating with emerging companies to enhance their growth potential. Wade has served as a Strategic Advisor to Schilling Cider since 2012 and has been a Founding Board Member of The Greater Sum Foundation from 2016 to 2023, working to support scalable innovations in the nonprofit sector. Additional roles include participation in the VC Lab accelerator program, serving as CEO of LivBar from 2018 to 2022, and holding academic positions such as Associate Professor of Entrepreneurial Practice at Willamette University and Visiting Professor at Victoria University of Wellington. Wade's educational background includes a Doctorate in Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of Denver and an MBA from Willamette University, alongside ongoing financial management studies at Harvard Business School.

Schilling Cider
In 1881, Colin Schilling’s Great-Great-Grandfather, August, founded the Schilling Spice Company in San Francisco. His goal was to bring pure, natural spices to everyone at a fair price. Today, we carry August’s core values forward and pair them with innovative cider-making techniques. All our ciders are handcrafted in the Pacific Northwest. We use only 100% fresh-pressed apples, locally sourced ingredients, and individually hand-selected yeast strains to create a cider experience that is truly unique.
