Elizabeth Whiting

Elizabeth Whiting is an accomplished sales professional with extensive experience in the publishing industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Trade Sales at Scholastic since May 2006, Whiting has a proven track record of managing teams that enhance sales for major accounts including Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Previously, Whiting held several positions at Scholastic, including Senior Sales Director and Sales Director, focusing on national and mass market accounts. Prior to joining Scholastic, Whiting worked at Perseus Books Group as a National Account Manager, overseeing client sales to Borders Group, Inc. Elizabeth Whiting holds a BA in English from Bates College, earned in 2001.
