Briony Cristiano has extensive experience in the field of bioscience and assay development. Briony is currently serving as the Head of Bioscience at SCHOTT MINIFAB since July 2017. Before that, they worked at QIAGEN as a Senior Manager and Senior Scientist in Assay Development from 2013 to 2017. Prior to QIAGEN, Briony was a Senior Scientist at Cellestis, a Qiagen Company, specializing in assay development from 2012 to 2013. Briony also worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Cephalon Australia (now Teva Pharmaceutical Australia) from 2006 to 2011 and as a Post Doctoral Scientist at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre from 2004 to 2005.

Briony Cristiano pursued their education in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Briony enrolled at the University of Melbourne in 1995 and completed their Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in this field in 1999. Following their undergraduate studies, Briony continued their academic journey at the University of Melbourne and obtained their PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2004.
