Bastian Huhnold

Bastian Huhnold has extensive work experience in operations and production management. Bastian is currently the Head of Operations Mainz for the BU Lighting and Imaging division at SCHOTT, starting in 2023. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2023, they served as the Plant Manager Operations at optoVision® Gesellschaft für moderne Glastechnik. From 2018 to 2021, Huhnold worked at Berliner Glas GmbH, first as the Head of Operations/BU Optics + Semicon Modules and later as the Manager Production Center Litho Parts/BU Semicon. Before that, they were the Director of Production at Scansonic MI GmbH from 2017 to 2018. Bastian'swork experience also includes the role of Manager Production Engineering at Qioptiq, An Excelitas Technologies Company, from 2014 to 2017.

Bastian Huhnold completed their education at HAWK Göttingen, where they earned a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) in Physiktechnik from 1999 to 2003. Later, from 2003 to 2005, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Optical Engineering / Photonics at the same institution.
