Annabelle Hett-Essinger

Annabelle Hett-Essinger, PhD, serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Schroder & Co Bank AG since March 2021, contributing extensive expertise from previous roles such as Managing Director at Swiss Re, where responsibilities included heading the Swiss Re Institute Engagement & Development and the Swiss Re Centre for Global Dialogue. Additionally, Annabelle led Emerging Risk Management at Swiss Re and worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Epidemiology at the Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office FSVO. Previous experience also includes a veterinarian role in an equine and small animal practice. Annabelle holds a High Performance Boards program certification from IMD, degrees from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a doctorate in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine from the University of Bern, and a diploma in Veterinary Medicine from Justus Liebig University Giessen.
