Derek Straker

Derek Straker is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as the Director of Accounting at Schrödinger since May 2021, Derek has previously held several positions at Nautilus Inc., including AR & Collection Manager and Accounting Manager. Other roles include Senior Accountant at Acme United Corporation and First Aid Only, as well as positions at Northwest Pipe Company and Ernst & Young as Assurance Senior. Derek began his career at Abilene Christian University while also gaining experience as an Accounting Intern at Avamere Health Services. Educational qualifications include a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, both obtained from Abilene Christian University.
