Thomas Flanitzer

Thomas Flanitzer has extensive work experience in the software engineering and consulting fields. Thomas'smost recent role is as the Head of Engineering at SCHUHFRIED GmbH, a position they have held since December 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Solution Architect at Evolit Consulting GmbH from September 2022 to November 2023. From February 2019 to August 2022, they served as the Head of Competence Unit at Zühlke Group. Before that, they held various positions at Zühlke Group, including Lead Software Architect and Expert Software Engineer. Thomas also gained experience as a Senior Developer at rubicon IT GmbH from August 2011 to August 2014, and as a Software & Safety Engineer at Frequentis from February 2009 to July 2011. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant at ARC Seibersdorf research GmbH from September 2008 to January 2009, and as a Software Engineer/Assistant Project Manager at Siemens from April 2008 to June 2008. Thomas began their career as a Freelance Software Engineer at Frequentis from August 2007 to June 2008.

Thomas Flanitzer received a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Engineering from Technische Universität Wien from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at TGM (polytechnic school) from 1997 to 2002.
