Jeff Miller is a seasoned scientific programmer and analyst with extensive experience in remote sensing and Earth science data calibration. Currently serving as the Lead Scientific Programmer/Analyst at Science Systems and Applications, Inc. since June 2022, Jeff focuses on the Landsat instruments to ensure optimal performance and high-quality imagery. Previously, Jeff held roles at KBR, Inc. and KBRWyle for over a decade, contributing to sea ice and snow investigations at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, where new data products were developed and existing datasets, including MODIS and AMSR-E, were improved. Jeff's background includes positions at SSAI as a Senior Calibration Analyst, monitoring instrument health for the Landsat-7 project, and work at Raytheon Technical Services focusing on calibration and operational systems for the Landsat-7 Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus instrument. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Maryland.
