Samuel Kitchen-McKinley

Samuel Kitchen-McKinley is a Senior Research Scientist at Science Systems and Applications, Inc (SSAI), providing GEDI data analysis support at NASA GSFC and contributing to PACE OCI Calibration and Science Analysis from 2018 to the present. Previously, Kitchen-McKinley served as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, focusing on developing a Simulink model for cold gas propulsion systems and lecturing in Technical Physics. Earlier experience includes a Research Associate position at the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition, engaging in programming and research on augmented cognition devices and advanced aircraft instrument systems. Kitchen-McKinley holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Physics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, along with a Master’s degree in the same field and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Clarkson University.
