Vinay Kayetha

Vinay Kayetha is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in atmospheric sciences and remote sensing. Currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at Science Systems and Applications, Inc (SSAI) since 2016, Vinay previously held roles as a Research Scientist and Research Assistant at the University of Alaska Fairbanks from 2009 to 2015, focusing on data processing and analysis from ruby lidar and W-band radar. Additionally, Vinay worked as a Lecturer at the Center for Spatial Information Technology, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, where courses on Remote Sensing and Digital Image Processing were taught. Early research experience includes working as a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, with projects involving satellite remote sensing data and developing GIS databases in collaboration with Universite of Blasie Pascal in France. Vinay holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s Degree in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, an M.Tech in Engineering Geosciences from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
