Michelle Leong is a software engineer currently working at Science since July 2023, with previous experience as a software engineer at ProtoNative from January 2023 to June 2023. At ProtoNative, Michelle significantly enhanced user experience through the implementation of key features using React and TypeScript, including drag-and-drop functionality, interactive tree diagrams, and state management solutions. Additionally, Michelle contributed to the open-source project’s popularity within the React Native community. Prior to this, Michelle worked as a Life Science Research Professional at Stanford University School of Medicine, focusing on SARS-CoV-2 virology and pathogenesis. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology from UC Santa Barbara.
