Barthelemy Moreau de Lizoreux has extensive experience in communication and business development, currently serving as Chargé de communication at Sciensano since December 2020, where responsibilities include managing communication for two EU-funded projects: PHIRI and OncNGS. Prior experience includes a role as Business Developer at Papillon Events, focusing on BtoB development, partner networking, communication, and event logistics. Barthelemy also held positions in monitoring and digital communication at Data Observer, annotation and transcription at iSoftStone, events organization at the International Zentrum der Universität Trier, and guiding tours at SPREV. Barthelemy holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in European Studies and Communication from Université de Lorraine and a Bachelor's in Political Science from Université Lumière Lyon 2, complemented by additional studies in History and Political Science.

For this, Sciensano builds on the more than 100 years of scientific expertise of the former Veterinary and Agrochemical Research Centre (CODA-CERVA) and the ex-Scientific Institute of Public Health (WIV-ISP).
