Joseph Norris

Joseph Norris has extensive experience in aerospace and hypersonic engineering, currently serving as the Lead for Hypersonic Infrastructure Investment Projects at Scientific Research Corporation since July 2019. Leading a team for the DoD's Test Resource Management Center, Joseph manages the acquisition of new hypersonic wind tunnel capabilities. Prior roles include Senior Functional Analyst for Hypersonic Test and Evaluation at OUSD(R&E) and Senior Engineer at CENTRA Technology, Inc. Joseph also held the position of Branch Manager at Arnold Engineering Development Complex, overseeing operations and management of Hypervelocity Wind Tunnel 9. With a solid foundation as an Aerospace Engineer at Arnold Engineering from 2002 to 2015, Joseph possesses strong expertise in test program management and instrumentation development. Educational credentials include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
