Yang Kang is an experienced research scientist currently serving as an Associate Staff Research Scientist at SCIEX since July 2012. Previously, Yang held roles as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Graduate Student/Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia from September 2008 to July 2012, focusing on the gas-phase structures of protein complexes and various protein studies using mass spectrometry. Yang also contributed as a Teaching Assistant, instructing undergraduate laboratory courses in analytical and physical chemistry. Earlier experience includes an Undergraduate Research Assistant position at Peking University, where methods for isolating diastereoisomers were developed. Yang holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from The University of British Columbia and a BS in Chemistry from Peking University.
